Serving the Villages of Columbus

 I’m Regina Acosta Tobin, a top-selling, full-time Columbus Realtor. For 20 years I've helped home buyers and sellers negotiate their transactions. I’m also the BROKER/OWNER of METRO VILLAGE REALTY. I’ve earned numerous awards and distinctions, many of which are listed below. And while many of my clients live in the German Village area, I routinely work with buyers and sellers throughout the metro Columbus including downtown, the Victorian Village area, Grandview Heights, Clintonville and parts beyond.

 At least that’s what my family tells me. Maybe they’re right. Originally from Puerto Rico, I’ve lived in Louisiana, Texas, California, Utah, South Carolina and now Ohio. Because of my own relocation experiences, I’m especially sensitive to the needs of my relocation clients. I currently live in the downtown area with my husband, Jeff, and our cat, Mama.

Fluent in Spanish and English, I graduated from the University of Texas (go Longhorns!) with a B.S. in Bilingual Education. I was an elementary school teacher for several years in Austin and Los Angeles. I also received my M.A. in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and was a school counselor for 4 years. You’d be amazed how often that training comes in handy during real estate negotiations.

I’ve served on multiple committees with the Columbus Realtor’s Association, was previously president of the Independent Brokers Association and Midtown Area Real Estate Association, and I’m a fierce advocate for responsible development in Columbus.

When not working with home buyers and sellers, you will likely find me helping to organize local events and volunteering for the German Village Society. And whenever I have spare time (which isn’t often),  I like to travel, hike, workout at the gym and stay up on the latest films.
