Dublin is a vibrant city of more than 47,000 residents located just northwest of Columbus, Ohio. It offers residents and corporate citizens attractive housing, superior public education, abundant park space, thoughtful and strategic planning and a dynamic community life. In 2015, it was named one of America’s Top 20 Creative Class Cities. It is home to more than 20 corporate headquarters, an entrepreneurial center, 4,300+ businesses and world-class events.
If golf is your game, this is your place. The city has some of the finest courses and clubs in the Midwest. A particular highlight is Jack Nicklaus’ PGA Tour Memorial Tournament, hosted each year at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
The city also hosts one of the nation’s largest Irish cultural events – the Dublin Irish Festival. In 2014 and 2012, the city was recognized as the Most Outstanding Global Festival and Event City in the World by the International Festivals and Events Association.
“Walk-able” is the best way to describe the Dublin Historic District. With a mix of local retail shops, restaurants and businesses, this bustling area appeals to all ages. The redevelopment of the Bridge Street District continues to be a major focus of the city in an effort to bring a denser, mixed use environment to the area.
The Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC), an 110,000-square-foot facility, offers a wide range of activities complimented by 56 parks, each with a name unique to its history, plus over 100 miles of bike trails which adds to the green-living Dublin strives to achieve.
